Homeowner Reviews
I brought several homes. It’s a luxury that I get to have having served the military and having to move around so much. This is my first new build and I tell you I’m excited and beyond happy. Truly a different feeling and I really love the communication that I’ve had with the Builder. Best experience ever.

Trophy homes are great. We bought a Gilmore in the Elevon community of Lavon Texas. We love our Trophy home. The spray foam insulation, the luxury vinyl plank flooring, the quartz counter tops, the stainless steel appliances from Whirlpool all come together to make this house a home.

If you’re considering buying a trophy home, run as far as you can in the opposite direction. They don't care about your experience. They care about doing a great job in the sales process and luring you in, before the ink is ever wet on your contract they forget about you. They no longer care. The will snake out of any warranty claim you have. This is bad news because I can promise you if I you buy a trophy home you will MANY warranty claims. Their attention to detail in the construction is non-existent. Their warranty department is a joke they are just trained to deny every claim and snake out of any agreement or contract. My house is 3 years old and the foundation is falling apart. The foundation is a nightmare. The flooring they use is pathetic. They don't know how to caulk. None of the Ethernet ports work. We had a real electrician look at our home and they were in absolute shock with how poorly everything was done. Save your self tens of thousands of dollars in repairs and stay far far far away from this company Update they now said they will not change their mind on covering it and I got a quote to fix it. 80K , 44 piers. This is devastating to our family. We were first time home buyers, just married, 23 years old when we bought it. We are being taken advantage of and this is going to destroy us financially when they could easily just abide by the warranty. They are claiming even my swing set impedes drainage which voids the claim.

The home I purchased thus far appears to have been constructed well. Good attention to detail on interior finish-out. Though I have not needed to call upon the builder for any type of warranty items, their customer service I did experience during the walk-through phase and transfer of long-term warranty to warranty company was smooth and efficient.

Extremely disappointed with Trophy Signature Homes' warranty service. They witnessed a faucet leak into my cabinet firsthand but claimed it was 'normal' and due to 'excess water.' I had to pay $400 out of my own pocket to fix their poor installation. Once I properly caulked the faucet base, the leak stopped—proving it was a construction defect, not 'excess water.' If you want a builder that stands by their work, look elsewhere. They will find any excuse to deny your warranty claims.
