You'd be better off building your house after watching a few youtube videos than going with this builder. The superintendent in the community I live in (Vintage Farms in Brenham) has got to be related to the owners of Stylecraft because anyone else would have been fired long ago. The guy sits in his truck all day, doesn't check behind the workers and leaves the properties looking like a disaster zone when it's time for the buyer to do a walk-through. This picture is in the driveway of a new build in Vintage Farms (today is 12/23/24). This is a piece of banding stuck in the concrete. The workers clearly saw this when screeding and brushing the wet concrete and it goes to show the absolute incompetence the superintendent exudes on every build. They expect a buyer to inspect the homes themselves and find things the trades didn't do correctly. That's the superintendent's job. They leave trash and debris in the house and in the yard of new builds. I cleaned up two contractor bags worth of trash after moving in and four years later am still finding trash coming up through my grass from underneath. The construction around the neighborhood is always a problem from dropping nails in the roads to dropping a big piece of granite at the front entrance (that shattered and is still spread everywhere over a month later), to blocking sidewalks with trash, dirt and debris. The erosion control fences aren't kept up, causing mass amounts of mud to spill onto the roadways and into the storm drains. The HOA is a joke and only polices the current residents while saying nothing to the owner of the real problems in the neighborhood, Stylecraft. My advice is to stay clear of this 90-day builder. They aren't quite as bad as D.R. Horton, but that's a low bar to pass.

I built with Aircraft in 2018 and am building again now. If you want to give input into the building of the home and you're able to go with someone else, go somewhere else. * Installed picture windows (the model only has functioning windows) and refused to change them out at framing - we have to do it after closing when it's more complicated. * They only install picture windows in main areas of the house. For a two-story, this also poses a potential hazard in terms of fire escape routes when the upstairs window over the covered porch, the best escape if the stairs are blocked, cannot be opened. * We were told the house would get gutters around the house, but they're only doing the front of the house. * We were told a perimeter fence would go along the length of our side of the neighborhood, but it's not. This leaves the neighboring property's back yard (not part of the Stylecraft neighborhood) open to our front yard and the entire neighborhood (they have a few dogs who roam free through the neighborhood and have put up a temporary fence to deal with this). The plans show at least part of this as a perimeter fence. * Didn't install the perimeter fence on the other side of our property as indicated in the plans. * Refused to allow us to pay the fencing company directly to extend the fence when we realized they weren't doing some of what we were told, and requiring that we do it after closing. * Accidentally extended the fence on several other houses but want full price to do the same for ours (and barring us from working with the fencing company now). * No longer extend concrete (driveway, back patio) * Overall, the quality seems to have gone down, removing archways and other simple features to make construction easier but takes away the classic feel of the house. I understand the need for some cost-cutting, but some of it is just lazy. They have managed to do a couple things we requested, which is why I'm not giving them only one star, but having worked with them before, this has been VERY disappointing. Also, they built houses on a new street on our current neighborhood. They did not put sidewalks on that street or create proper drainage, so when it rains, 24 hours is needed for a section of the street to drain and dry so you can walk down it. Last week it was piled up with mud.

To those of you looking to purchase a Stylecraft house, beware.... I bought my house at the end of October 2023. I have not had any major problems, but my floors are all coming up. I reached out to the builder in January of 2025, and while there is only 1 year warranty on the house, A representative of Stylecraft told me the floor had a lifetime warranty. I have gone back and forrh asking if there is any other recourse, but have not heard back from anyone???? My neighbor had the same problem with her floors, after 3 months of the purchase, and builder did not want to fix it until she published it on here. You think that a 300k house would not give you these type of problems so soon??? So be careful NEW BUYERS.... Beware and be informed from a new house buyer. Floors will not last but 2 years or less, and then you will be caught having to put a new floor in on your own. I am NOT the only one...

Great people to work with! Several floor plans at competitive prices, perfect for first time or young home buyers who want "the look" in reputable neighborhoods. They are not custom home builders but have a range of options as far as finishes, so you can still make it your own. Plus, when you buy, you have a 1 year home warranty. We have used this several times within the 1sr year, and they have raken care of us every single time, no corners cut, no unnecessary hoops that delay repairs. And if you use Stylecraft's preferred lender to finance, Stylecraft will pay the closing costs. More πŸ’²πŸ’²πŸ’²stays in your pocket! This purchase was so smooth and they were always on top of everything. A well oiled machine. Definitely recommend Stylecraft for anyone in the market for move-in ready, good neighborhood, and any first time home buyers!

We worked with Stylecraft to have our first home built, and it was a good experience. They make things like design choices and closing relatively painless, and even after moving in, our superintendent has been very available and accommodating to our needs. We were at the site every few days and witnessed that the home was well built, and we were never pressured to buy into any upgrades. The house was genuinely move in ready at the end. We like that for a starter home, they add touches that truly look custom (arches, granite, cut outs, doors) that add value to the home.
