Terrible Experience with Landsea Homes & The Meadows in Gunter, TX I strongly regret choosing Landsea Homes and buying a house in The Meadows in Gunter. The experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, they made critical mistakes—starting with pouring the wrong slab for our home, to flooding our house. To make matters worse, they messed up the hardwood flooring when they flooded the house and constantly try to fix problems with temporary "band-aids" instead of addressing the root causes. Things continue to break, and their solution is always to rush through repairs with minimal effort, hoping that we don’t notice until the warranty expires. They push you through the walk-through in a rushed manner, expecting you to catch every little mistake. The cosmetic issues are absolutely outrageous, and it's clear they don’t care about the quality of their work. I will never, under any circumstances, buy another home from Landsea Homes again. Do yourself a favor and find a better company because Landsea Homes is not it. Avoid them at all costs.

I’ve made the purchase with the previous company and it’s been a year. I’ve owned my home and I have recently conducted my yearly inspection before my home warranty was out and I must say Mrs. Donna D. Has a system made throughout the whole process this year. even though she may not do them maintenance work, she made sure that if I had any issues with my home which are very minimum the contractors were contacted. She followed up and ensure that if there was anything that I didn’t understand with my home warranty, we work through them and together it was awesome. I’m grateful for having her on my team for the home warranty. Thank you, Mrs Donna.

I wanted to take a moment to comment on Ashley in the warranty department. She completely understands the construction process, building codes and warranty specifics. She excels in communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner, making it easier for clients to understand their warranty coverage and rights. Her empathetic approach ensures that clients feel heard and valued, fostering strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction. More specifically, in January 2024, the winterstorm that lasted 5 days: During that time I heard a horrible noise coming out of my attic and was not able to get an appointment until mid-week. Ashley, knew how the house was constructed and assured me that there was nothing wrong. That was a normal HVAC feature. And she was right. Thank you again for going above and beyond for your customers.

I got a emergency my garage door stop working properly but I make a few phone calls tried to follow the proper procedure and Ashey went above and beyond on customer service she no just help me with my concerns also she follow if the contractor fix my garage door i got a phone call from her to verify everything got taking care and I'm not just happy I'm glad Landsea got people like Ashley professional services . Well done . Ashley thank you!

What a HORRIFIC company. My senior citizen mother purchased her first home April 2024 and has experienced horrible air quality conditions due to mold and other issues and has been sick to the point of sleeping in her car after buying a brand new home. Not only is the manager she’s dealing with not trying to help her, he keeps telling her there’s nothing he could do. The situation is absurd and insane and I can not believe that the representative is telling her that mold and unhealthy air quality is her fault in the brand new home they built. If you make a mistake, you should fix it. Not let someone suffer because of the defaults the house has. I can not believe this issue hasn’t been resolved. What a mess this has become. I feel so bad for my mother after saving her money, working hard and finally buying her dream house, she has to deal with this.
