I had a home built that is shifting really bad the doors want close my slab is cracking and I have a Crack from my roof to the slab that you can put your finger in and they are calling this normal. I had another company inspect the foundation and it has moved 3" and Impression Homes sent there people out and they are trying to avoid fixing my slab. They are very unconcerned with my problem. My walls inside and out are cracking and the are saying it's normal even with my tile cracking on my floors. I'm going to have to get a lawyer to handle this problem. I wish I could put the pictures on here because they are very bad.

Here’s a polished version of your review for Eric: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Eric with Impression Homes in Balch Springs is truly exceptional! He went above and beyond to help my client—not only explaining all of the options Impression Homes offers but also taking the time and patience to answer every single question. He guided her through the process, showing her different options and making sure she felt confident in choosing the best home with the best rate for her. It’s rare to find a new home builder agent who is this knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated. If you’re looking for a new home, go see Eric at Impression Homes—he will take amazing care of you!

Update 9-4-25: They say that they apologize then claim their warranty has guidelines, the trees were dead when they were planted and it was noted on our walk-thru. The excuse was that the landscape company that they hire doesn't guarantee the trees that means they can plant dead trees and have no responsibility. I'm not surprised they don't have a solid 1-Star review rating. They are absolutely unprofessional and deceiving. We bought my mother a home in The Villas in Redden Farms and they did not do a proper finish grade and planted (2) trees that died quickly then claimed that they don't guarantee the trees or landscaping. Mind you, we told the Construction Foreman that they were dead when they planted them. We now have to replace (2) trees or get fined by the HOA. This is a crooked way to do business when you don't hold your Landscape Company responsible for planting dead trees. If is wasn't for moving my mother down here in the same area we live in and her wanting in a 55+ community , we would be looking elsewhere. The better choice is Midtowne in Midlothian but it was not available at the time. Buyer beware as they have other issues and the list is too long to do. The 2.9 Star rating is generous, if you are looking to get sub-par work with a company that doesn't care, then you can go with them.

From the minute my family and I walked into the model home Carolyne was professional, sweet, genuine, and ready to do what was needed to make a deal. She really left a mark. We went, had lunch, and couldn't get these homes out of our mind. Although we are not ready to purchase yet due to family obligations, we are excited to have found a great option for our new home!

First off just let me say that we do love our home!! We just had a few bad experiences with some of the staff. The salespeople are, well, sales people. Get EVERYTHING in writing ahead of time!!! Salespeople do lie and this was no different. I would never buy a home from this person again and would never recommend anyone else do either without FULLY warning them first!! Other than that, the home sells itself! We went through the entire process from start to finish, got pretty much everything we wanted. We came out 2-3 times a week and everything went smooth. Normal issues at closing and during the walk through. We did miss a few things but that's on me and they were small things that I can take care of. We did a home inspection at the 1 year mark which told us everything we already knew. BUT, there is 1 item that we've been trying to get fixed since day one that keeps getting pushed off and I've finally just given up and let them win because they're cheap buggers that didn't want to bother doing it right the first, 2nd, 3rd times!!! The grading of the yard between mine and both of my neighbors yards is horrible and floods when it rains and after i water it for 4 minutes!!! They halfway put in a french drain on one side but never took it to the street like they should have so when the drain fills, guess what?? Yep, flood between the homes. I did squawk this during winter months and they asked me to wait until summer and the grass isn't dormant. Stupid me said yes. Delayed again. Squawked it a couple more times then finally on the 1 year mark before the warranty expires. They came out, threw down sand FULL of fist size rock over half of the flooding area and said it was good. NOPE!! The warranty gentleman came by to check on everything so I told him I had to pick rocks out of what they had just done. He said he'd get them to do it. NEVER DID!! They came back and tossed a few squares of sod down over it and rolled it down. Warranty gentlemen cam by again and I showed him what they did, pulled it back and showed him the rocks they left there and he said he'd have them fix it. NEVER HAPPENED!! I had watered that morning for 4 minutes in that area - HIS recommendation by the way - so I showed him where the flooding still was there, in the back yard and the other side of the house which the backyard and other side had never been addressed, and he said his "BIG" boss was coming to take a look at this. Now, for his part, he was consistently checking in to see that everything was done correctly and to our liking..........until now. I didn't hear from him for a week so I called him. He gave me the biggest run around saying there was nothing wrong with the yard and that it was all "normal". If it was all normal then why did he do anything in the first place? They never even looked at the backyard. I told him I'd just have to fix it myself since they're too lazy to do it right. He just hemm'ed and hawww'd saying there was nothing wrong. LIAR!!! I have the pictures to prove it so please judge for yourself. We do love the house but if they have to spend real money to fix something, they won't at any cost and it's not worth a lawyer, which they know. So just be careful. Get everything in writing and take plenty of pictures..
