We purchased a beautiful home and the builders did a wonderful job with the move in ready household. Not to mention working with Austin the construction manager for the walk through was a very great and informative experience. We would highly recommend to any one for future home purchases. There are great incentives, quality homes, constant communication, and as speed of a buying process as there could be when everything checks off.

This review is specifically for First America Homes – Hickory Ridge. Our construction manager, Juan Lopez, was amazing to work with. He responded to every request quickly and went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything, especially since we’re new to Texas. He took the time to guide us through the upkeep of our home and recommended great things to do in the area. Juan is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and truly just passionate about his job. Hello, This is the second time I post here, again I love the floor plan, and location of the house and not asking for a new home nor to pay for my mortgage. I just want for First America Homes to back up what they advertise. See picture below for details. My dryer braker keeps tripping with out using the appliance and the appliance disconnected. The builders electrician inspects all circuits and mentions that all circuit is within specs and no problem found. They did replace the braker GFCI for the appliance but continues to trip. Talking to neighbors, I found out that this community has this problem. Also at the same time there is a section of the roof (structural) not shingles is cave in. Again builders roof company shows and informs that there is no issue found. With all this, all warranty information is submitted to through out the web site and there is no resolution nor answer in an email format nor paper for home owner documentation. They publicize a lot of YouTube videos about maintenance including the GFIC circuit and... please inform on your YouTube video for GFIC that they also ranged by temperature and humidity. Reason for tripping. When selling a property, the seller needs to disclose all problems, issues, up's and downs and what's in it and projects within the community as the builder created a deed and you get to find out after sign also. Unfortunately, you need to find out all about this after you sign (closing). UPDATE, we continue to have the same issues. No body from this builder has shown up, said anything, and they continue on the same path. This home needs to be reseal completely, rewire properly and finish as the cost of the home. Nkt the poor quality they build homes. Doing laundry agin and again the dryer breaker trip and trips... The edge of the te in yhe bathroom is knife sharp can cut you very easly. Our foundation is craked already, but you can not see it because is is suspended by steel cable to keep it toghether. First America Homes DOES NOT BACK UP YHE WARRANTY.... Vacant lot next to us is doing a burn all vegetation, clear all land to put a boat, rv, truck parking. Were are home values going to end.... Here are more pictures of what r you going to get after a year, see new pictures below UPDATE.... our braker for the dryer still tripping. We can not do laundry neither Saturday nor Sunday. The foundation is showing cracks, which I inform them already. I am adding a picture of how they shim the front door. With coins. We are not the only ones, this hole community is the same.... Including the HOA which I call them BOA. Its all for them, not the community. Insted of helping the community they sue the home owners for nothing. No reason. They made changes to the deed with out notifying the home owners. Thats illegal. Also I am adding more pictures on the structural part of the roof. Thats how all our roofs look like. Our house was built not even 2 years ago and the counters have fallen off completely. Their response was they can fix it for a price... why would I get it fixed by the people who poorly built this house in the first place.. take your money and run the opposite way. Also their customer service is the worst. Such a shame.
