Buyer Beware! End of Year Warranty not guaranteed! We purchased our home in July of 2023. We had some warranty issues that were repaired in a timely manner, so all was good. We noticed that the floating flooring was beginning to buckle. As the end of the 1st year warranty drew near I made a list of issues and sent if off to the warranty department to be addressed. The Warranty Person contacted us, arrived to address the issues and noticed that the floating flooring was buckling. With his shoes off, he verified movement. Stated that Centre Living Homes would honor the warranty after an inspection to determine what the proper course of action would be. He repaired the defective glides on the drawers that had come apart. Stating that the defective glides were not covered by the warranty. If the glides needed to be replaced, we would need to purchase new ones and have them installed. I thought this as strange because there was no heavy usage and the glides had come apart. Fortunately the glides are still working and the drawers close properly. Other items were repaired and addressed so all was well. The Warranty Person advised me that an Inspector from the Flooring Installer would be coming out to evaluate the flooring. The Inspector came out and verbally determined the problem with the flooring was a Manufacture problem. He would complete his report and forward it. A few days later I received a call from an Independent Inspector who stated that he had been hired by the Manufacturer to evaluate the flooring. Since I had not been notified about a second evaluation I advised the Independent Inspector that he would have to wait until I had spoken to the Warranty Person about the 2nd undisclosed evaluation. The Warranty Person was off on Personal Time Off but did eventually respond to my request for confirmation about the 2nd evaluation. I was advised that this was normal and authorized. I allowed the Independent Inspector to evaluate the flooring. The Independent Inspector verbally advised my son that there was no under layment below the floating floor. I later received a notification from the Warranty Person that because some of our chairs had casters on them that the damage to the flooring was caused by the caster and voided the warranty. I looked through the New Home Owner's documents for the flooring warranty but could not find any information on the flooring. When my Realtor and I first contacted the Sales Person about buying our new house, we were advised the 1st Year Warranty would cover issues as long as we did not abuse or use Outside Contractors which would void the warranty. When we did our final walk through before purchase there had been NO MENTION OF NOT BEING ABLE TO USE CASTERS ON THE FLOORING! The flooring is buckling even where we do not use chairs with casters. We were advised to use the vent fans in the wet rooms, (bathrooms and laundry), to prevent mold and mildew build up. Which we have done. If you are going to buy a new home with a 1st year warranty, make sure you record any comments or statements made by the Sales Person, Home Builder's Personnel, Warranty Persons or Installers so that there can be NO Denying what is and what is not covered by Warranty. We had thought we were on good terms with the Builder's Personnel and were recommending the subdivision to others. NOT NOW! Definitely Not Worth the Money! We agree with the Other Reviewer, that commented about the low or poor quality materials that are used. We are already having to re-caulk because of cracking and re-paint the exterior because of peeling, (not covered by 1st year warranty). Based on the high price point of these homes, there should be no issues regarding 1st year warranty or material quality. Update 02/2026 Still No Relief! Centre Living will not repair any of the issues which have gotten worse! Dragging out legal process hoping we run out of money.

We recently bought a townhome from Centre Living Homes and even though I don’t typically write reviews, I wanted to say they were wonderful to work with. From the beginning Alyssa and Kenley were attentive to our questions and needs and towards the end we met Noah and Will who went above and beyond to put the finishing touches on our home and answer all our questions. Will and the team even gave some advice and recommendations for other things we wanted to get done in the home after closing. I really didn’t expect a builder in Frisco to be so nice to us and take the time to meet our needs (because you expect them all to be so busy and ready to go on to the next customer). I would definitely recommend this team and builder to all our friends and family because we absolutely love our beautiful new home!

I bought a new construction home from Centre Living Homes in 2022, and within 2 years, my roof developed a leak due to poor sealant work. I later found out that at least 8 out of 27 homes in my small neighborhood have experienced the same issue. The builder refused to take any responsibility because the 1-year warranty had expired — even though it’s clearly a pattern of poor workmanship, not a one-off issue. The repair only cost me $600, but the bigger concern is how many other issues like this might show up down the line. If you’re considering buying from this builder, I recommend asking very detailed questions about quality control and long-term support. Be cautious.

We had a fantastic experience with Centre Living Homes. The craftsmanship throughout our home is excellent — every detail feels thoughtfully executed and built to last. Their design team was truly phenomenal, offering creative ideas, expert guidance, and a keen eye for style that made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Communication was always prompt, and any questions or requests were handled quickly and professionally. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with both the quality of the work and the service we received. Highly recommend!

Will, CJ, and the extended team at Centre Living did a fantastic job with our new build home at Emory Park, in Trinity Groves (Dallas, TX). They were extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful during the building process - We could not be more happy with how amazing our new home turned out. I would highly recommend this team if you're looking to build in Dallas!
