Homeowner Reviews
Zac Lindsey was absolutely amazing to work with! He helped me find the perfect home and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He was very respectful, patient, and always took the time to answer my questions and explain everything clearly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and wants what’s best for them. I would definitely recommend Zac to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

American Legend Homes builds a best-in-class home. Our 3rd party inspector was so impressed with the way our home was built, how the rafters met in the corners and junctions. The important things you don't look at every day. In M3 Ranch, Mansfield, TX, Craig Whipple in the model home/office serves with excellence and a warm smile. He is kind and patient. Stephen Lang was our builder, and pays attention to the details. He responds to anything the buyer notices and/or needs modified quickly. After a year of searching for our home, we are so pleased and have no regrets. Thank you.

American Legend Homes has engaged in deceptive and negligent construction practices during the building of my new home. The company repeatedly failed to follow approved plans, ignored basic construction standards, and then attempted to avoid responsibility by falsely claiming that my one-hour walkthrough waived all future defects. Details of Issues: 1. Driveway Sod Hazard – After replacing my driveway, the subcontractor layered sod on top of dirt and old sod. This left my lawn 5 to 7 inches higher than the driveway/sidewalk, creating a safety hazard and preventing proper mowing. 2. Backyard Grading Failure – My backyard was improperly graded, burying the retaining wall’s weep holes and blocking drainage. Correction required lowering the yard by 15 inches, leaving it uneven. 3. Sham Sand Leveling – I was promised professional sand leveling. Instead, the crew dumped about six wheelbarrows of sand across the yard without spreading it. This was not a fix — it was a deceptive attempt to appear compliant. 4. Sunken Yard Drains – Multiple 4” x 4” drains are now 4 to 5 inches below grass level, creating dangerous trip hazards and defeating their purpose. 5. Job site Trash- The builder does not clean up the Job site. They will use a skid loader to pickup the big pieces of trash before laying the sod. The remaining 2x4’s, bricks and stone, plumbing and HVAC parts from the build is ran over with the loader to bury the trash in the clay soil. This is my third home build, and I have never encountered such negligence or dishonesty from a builder. American Legend Homes’ actions are unacceptable, unsafe, and unethical.

We had a wonderful experience with American Legend Homes and are so thankful for the team that helped us through the entire process. Gaige, our sales person, was knowledgeable, trustworthy and patient, guiding us through each step and making sure we felt confident in our decisions. Krystal, our designer, was so talented and detail oriented. She helped bring our vision to life and guided us through the many aspects of design with functionality and ease…a delight to work with! Herb, our builder was outstanding – always responsive, communicative and dedicated to delivering a beautiful final product. From start to finish, the entire team worked with us to customize our home, kept us up-to-date on pricing and options, made the journey smooth, enjoyable and delivered on schedule! We absolutely love our new home, and would highly recommend American Legend to anyone looking for quality, professionalism and a truly personalized experience.

My wife and I have built three homes in Prosper Texas. Two previous homes with another builder that we liked very much. When looking for a new home we could not find the design that we wanted with our previous builder. I had met a person that is a Superintendent for American Legends, and he suggested that I take a look at what they have to offer. From the moment that my wife and I arrived at the Star Trail office we were made to feel valued by Elizabeth and she was so very helpful along with her assistant Michelle. We decided to build with American Legend for that very reason. When it came to the home build I could not have asked or received better, quality construction and assistance from our project manager Blake. I am blessed with many friends that came to our home just before drywall stage and wrote scripture verses in our home. Some of my friends are home builders in the DFW area that only build homes way out of my ability to purchase. All told me that they were impressed with the quality of the construction and the cleanliness of the building process. The entire process is one filled with concern for doing things right the first time, with constant communication along the way, from the contract phase to the design phase - working with the designer was so easy and her communication back to Blake made the build process go smoothly. The delivery of the home went flawlessly. Both my wife and I are in the commercial building field and understand all of the issues that can come up and do come up. It was a breath of fresh air to work with an amazing company as American Legend.
